This past weekend, our team lined up with six riders at the RAD RACE 120, and what a weekend it was!
Saturday kicked off with the Prologue, a challenging team hill time trial. Our squad put in a strong performance and secured an impressive 5th place overall, showcasing great teamwork and climbing legs right from the start.
On Sunday, the main event took place – a 120 km road race that turned out to be fast, hectic, and unpredictable. From the gun, the pace was fast, and the wet conditions in parts of the course added an extra layer of difficulty. Despite the chaos, our team – especially Philip, Nico, and Elias – held their own in the front groups and delivered a fantastic team performance, finishing 8th overall in the team classification.
Unfortunately, due to multiple crashes, the race had to be cut short at 97 km for safety reasons and was officially classified at that point. Nevertheless, it was an intense and exciting race, and we’re proud of how our riders performed under tough conditions.
The weekend wasn’t just about racing – the event was incredibly well organized, with a vibrant expo area, great atmosphere, and cool exhibitors. It was fantastic to see our partner Bikeleasing and our equipment sponsor Edelsten represented with booths on-site, adding to the overall experience.
All in all, it was a great weekend full of good vibes, strong results, and memorable moments.
