Season Opener for Leo Ebner in Backnang-Waldrems
The 2025 racing season kicked off for Leo Ebner in the Elite Amateur category at the Backnang-Waldrems race – and the conditions were anything but easy. Strong winds and a relentless start set the tone for a tough and fast-paced competition. After the opening laps and two splits, Leo found himself towards the back of the main field.
Refusing to settle, he showed strong determination and, together with a fellow rider, worked his way forward, successfully bridging the gap to the second group of the peloton. The race was marked by constant attacks and a decisive breakaway group that ultimately secured the victory.
Leo crossed the finish line in the second split of the main field, delivering a solid performance in his first race wearing his new team colors. A strong start to the season and a promising sign of things to come.
